Do Pigeon Flock Repellents Work?

When you have a pigeon problem you will look for several solutions. One of those solutions that you will see all over the internet is pigeon flock repellent. If you have tried several things you may want to give them a try, but do pigeon flock repellents work? The first thing to know is that there are a few types of repellents. Some are the chemical ones that you can find online while others are flock solutions that you can use while avoiding those chemicals. So what is the story on repellents?

The commercial repellents which you see advertised as a solution have a lot of disadvantages. Though they may do some of the job, they will never repel a full flock. You also must place it on the location every day and in some cases more than once a day. The other type of flock repellents are the ones that have worked for many decades and that is scarecrows. Not necessarily like you see on a Sunday morning cartoon, but rather something that makes the birds believe that there are predators around. Good decoys would be replicas of hawks and owls. No repellent is one hundred percent guaranteed, but the ones that you can make usually work better.
